Traveling around the world, and experiencing different cultures and cuisines; made me understand the basics and main essentials of Food, beverage and service.
It took me more than two decades working in the food and beverage world, to realize that the only way for me to bring myself final satisfaction, and sense of achievement will be when I see my own product created by my own hands and experience. In my own opinion the richest and the most misunderstood cuisine in the world, is the American dining.
If one takes a moment and thinks of the American cuisine, one will realize that it is the richest and most creative style of dining. As America was created, combining many cultures, creating the most beautiful culture and so did the American dining. Combining many beautiful flavors into the most interesting cuisine in the world, that has no limitation for creation.
Blackstone Bistro got created as the results of all experiences I have had in San Francisco, New York, Hawaii, Washington DC, and many other states, meeting and working with the most amazing and creative executive chefs in the world.
